Papa Legba is the gateway to the spirit world, so he certainly didn’t cause her death. Add to this fact that she was 19 and died on April "19", and it all points to the Haitian voodoo God Papa Legba murdering the Virginia Beach teen. Papa Legba is a “loa,” which are spirits of Haitian Vodou and Louisiana Voodoo. Legba represents a West African and Caribbean Voodoo god and has many different names depending on the region in which he’s worshipped, though he’s most commonly known in Haiti as Papa Legba.
