3D Mode is rumoured to be "discovered" by NerdCubed, and the devs jokingly wrote on their twitter: "Took you long enough!" Many objects in the game are not modelled yet and uses a flat, 2D sprite on the floor instead. Prison Architect has been adding extra dimensions to its simulation of prisons for years now, but this is a big one: it now has a 3D mode. 3D Mode is a recently discovered secret in the game.
